KemperSports is the operator for the City of Portland eastside courses. All operations staff are KemperSports employees while course maintenance staff are city employees.
KemperSports was hired because the company proved to be the best partner for the City of Portland through it’s vision and operating plan for the Portland Parks Golf properties. KemperSports has proven to be a strong, strategic partner for the City over the past several years, and offers it’s full suite of business management expertise in areas such as budgeting & forecasting, marketing and event management, accounting, HR and employment activities, corporate compliance, environmental stewardship, and a general commitment to operational excellence through staff training and customer service. KemperSports also champions growing the game efforts through its robust golf instruction and player development programs, which are offered at all the Portland Parks Golf facilities.
